The Next ‘Meating’?
Suggestions for the next Meating are open. Obvious candidates include:
- Longhorns (Newcastle or Jesmond)
- The Hop and Cleaver
- Man vs Food (Tyne Dock or Heaton)
- The Meat House, North Shields
- Bierrex Smoke and Tap House, Newcastle
Are we missing anyone? Are there meatings to be had in Sunderland? South Shields? The wooly wilds of Northumberland?
Fat Hippo in Newcastle & Jesmond and Miller & Carter in Newcastle spring to mind.
I’m intrigued by Bierrex, as its the only one I haven’t been in at all. Well, that and the Meat House in Shields. There’s also Holy Smokes in Sunderland.
